Freeze Dried Candy by Kindred Kandies

Kindred's Kandies LLC is owned by the Kindred Family - Clint, Kylee, Hailee, and Hannah. In 2021, we purchased our first freeze dryer to make backpacking meals. Shortly after, we decided to create a hobby business selling freeze dried candy to teach our daughters about entrepreneurship. Business quickly grew and now Kindred's Kandies LLC is a full-time business with several employees. We are proud to be one of the few freeze drying companies in the State of Virginia to be granted a Food Manufacturer Permit. This means our business and manufacturing practices are overseen by the Virginia Department of Agricultural and Consumer Services (VDACS).
